Make your Redwood Coast vacation memorable with one of our experiences. Our experiences are designed to engage you with the food, nature, history and culture of Humboldt County. All of our experiences can be customized to suit your groups needs.
Sunset Picnic & Bonfire
Unwind with a private beach picnic at one of our remote local beaches. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a romantic evening, this curated experience brings together natural beauty, local flavors, and personalized service.
Your experience begins with a short scenic walk to a selected beach location, where a cozy and stylish picnic complete with blankets, cushions, fire pit, and your requested food. Hang out at the picnic table or enjoy some beach combing!
As the sun dips below the horizon, enjoy the peaceful sounds of crashing waves and seabirds. At this point a small bonfire will be lit and a smores kit will be provided. A knowledgable local host will be there for the duration and clean up will be done once guests depart.
Great alternative to traditional dining for a romantic evenings or for an adventurous family!
Wildlife & Nature
Explore the wild heart of the Redwood Coast with a custom wildlife experience led by an experienced local naturalist. Depending on the conditions and your interests we will take you to mesmerizing tide pools or a wildlife sanctuary that is teaming with biodiversity.

Discover the heart of Humboldt County’s local food scene at the Arcata Farmer’s Market, one of California’s oldest and most beloved farmer’s markets. Held every Saturday on the lively Arcata Plaza, this experience immerses you in the sights, smells, and tastes of the Redwood Coast.
Our chef will start your tour with local coffee and a pastry of your choosing. They will then introduce you to farmers, herbalists, bakers, and craftspeople while helping you pick out seasonal produce, artisan cheeses, and other specialty items. Along the way, you’ll hear stories about regenerative agriculture, local sustainability efforts, and the cultural history of the area. Depending on which option you chose there will be 4-6 tasting opportunities to sample the local food.
